We arrived late evening, apparently not long before they'd finish for the day.Staff demonstrated professional friendliness and were very patient with us :-)We just had some beers, no meals, and the restaurant was empty.Prices were OK and about regional average.The location is very nice in this historic building. Slightly touristic flair but still very local and doesn't seem to be a typical tourist trap.German dishes according to the menu - I regret not having had dinner there and will certainly have a try the next time I'm in Lubeck.
Var her med familien for lunch. De hadde ingen lunchmeny, men en del tyngre retter. Vi var småsultne og bestilte en kylling nuggets for deling mellom to små barn, og en curryworst på deling for to voksne. To kaffe og en flaske vann. Maten kom raskt på bordet, smakte helt greit. Den store overraskelsen var regningen. De forlangte 30 kroner for et ekstra bestikk, og regningen for to små retter kom over 300 kr. Ikke verdt pengene, flere mindre og rimeligere restauranter i gatene bak. Kommer ikke tilbake hit.
Etablissement situé dans une cave en dessous de l'hôtel de ville historique de Lubeck, le restaurant, décoré comme aux siècles passés, propose une cuisine simple mais de qualité, notamment des plats de poisson d'eau douce (sandre, saumon) de tout premier choix, bien préparés et savoureux. Certes, le personnel semble un peu rude, mais correct. A conseiller surtout pour le cadre, mais la cuisine est tout à fait bonne et très abordable.
This is the municipality building in the middle of town. Built by merchants using expensive black bricks, this building was meant to stand as a witness to their richness and power.An extra wall with two big circular holes was built behind it to make it look bigger. The wholes to prevent the wind from damaging the wall.Worth a look and highly admirable.Recommended!

We had a pork knuckle and a chicken dish. Both average in taste and quality. Prices on the upper side (especially the chicken at 17,50 euro), so perhaps moderate value for money. In addition, we wanted to share the two dishes and was charged euro 1,50 for extra plate??? Location is great, in middle of Lubeck and close to one of the churches.
Rustik och genuin miljö i källarvalven under rådhuset i Lübeck. Vi satt i ett av de trevliga "båsen" med olika teman. Ganska hög ljudnivå. Godkänd och hederlig mat och bra service. Den här restaurangen besöker man främst för miljön. Man ska inte förvänta sig en kulinarisk upplevelse.
Wirklich nettes Ambiente, gutes Bier, hervorragender Riesling. Wäre für Nachtschwärmer zu empfehlen, schließt aber schon relativ früh. Die Speisen keinesfalls mehr als durchschnittlich, nette Bedienung.

A ok place to sit down, however if you appreciate good coffee this might not be the place for you… the ice cream is ok as well
