Ratskeller - Reservar una mesa

I need to make clear that we did NOT eat here, but we did go in and take a look at how it was, what was on the menu and how it felt. We were looking for a relaxed easy going hearty meal amongst long...term friends. As a habit we can put up with almost any environment if the food is looking above average and the vibe is right. We did not get that here. The green plastic on the tables and the menu as posted together with the general feel did not coax us in. We have encountered previous cafe restaurant bar places with the same name. They have not been part of a chain but have exuded a manageable appeal which we didn't detect in Konz.

solid menu at eur 7.50 eating was simple and uncomplicated, but well prepared and by a good standard. we received a private room as we were a group of eight and received excellent service. no pressure to go so we had a very...relaxing eating. as the name already says, is located under the Rathaus on the main square. the wine was also good and cheap

we thought in conc for the night while we went the moselsteig. I think the rtskeller is the best place tyo have a (local style) meal. very many portions, lots of meat, kartoffeln, spaetzle, etc. great tap beer recommend!

this is a German ground restaurant with classic meals. service is good and also eat. nothing extraordinary, but a good place to take a bite when they are hungry.

a little of the beaten path, but worth a stop in the Mosel area. beautiful old fashion ambiente, great service, good eating to appropriate trips.
