we stayed in weiden for a very short business trip and visited this restaurant after the review travel advisor for some good German foods near our hotels of classic. we were not disappointed. I ordered one of their fish dishes and it was absolutely delicious. one of the few places I have eaten in Germany, which have offered a beside salad. the service was friendly and with our zero German and hostesses limited English we could easily communicate well. my colleague had also had a delicious looking goulash that would have given me food jealous, my fish could not have been so good. good a stop worth looking for a great feed in weiden

The Ratskeller is an old, typical German restaurant that has been a fixture in the Old Town Weiden for a long time. The food is good, especially if you stick to their local or Bohemian dishes (they have great dumplings). In summer, you can sit...outside on the town square, which is very pleasant. The only time I would pass on eating here is if the restaurant is very crowded since the kitchen has a tendency to get overwhelmed in such situations. But the beer is good and the waitresses are nice (if a bit business-like) so if you have time there are worse places to sit and watch the world go by!

we had dinner in this restaurant and enjoyed it very much. they had some interesting suppening, the mushroom soup of my man was wonderful, and I tried something else, sparing soup, but not creamy, more of a broth. our main courses were also very good. the service took. a little time, but not considering that there was a woman who did everything, she could work safely. in the pedestrian zone of the city, so it is easy to find.

we stopped for lunch today, it was our first time. that loved eating, and the server were helpful. great look and great menu to ask everyone to fill! right in the center of weiden. they take card and cash.

if they are looking for authentic German means of life, this is the place to go to graze! eating is never disappointed and we often visit dinner.
