Ratsstuben Restaurant

This restaurant has a gorgeous setting, with a nice interior and a lovely quiet terrace. Imaginative menu, with local trout (but not available that night, in spite of being advertised on the day's special) and venison. But it was all very disappointing : slow service...(only one young friendly man, but definitely not in a hurry), and the wild boar medaillons or mini-steaks were dreadfully overcooked. What a pity. To finish on a positive note: very good organic house wine directly sourced from Weingut Hermann und Bianca Schneider from Landau (Pfalz).

I don't eat in fine restaurants because I never feel that it's worth the amount of money. this was opesite fall, as eating was cheaper then other fine restrained and the quality was from the outdated ive ever experinated, most likly...a og had the best meal levels ever and so the rest of my family think. Now the building is small and coasy and with this satisfying decorative overcomings that simply fits perfectly for the mountainous area around it. all in all, I would make it hard to recomend and my family also does.

I can't recommend this restaurant as the food and service quality doesn't correspond to their quite high prices. The chef spends a lot of energy on arranging the food and creates an art on the plate but he should more focus on cooking. Maybe even...take some lessons. The meal was really bad, meat dry and chewy. This is a shame because the restaurant has a beautiful cosy interior and would be a nice place for a romantic dinner. Staff is very friendly and helpful, although very slow in serving.

Innovative and delicious cuisine at reasonable prices, loved it. Even though the one waiter who covered the entire restaurant appeared at times overwhelmed, it is a restaurant that I would certainly visit again when I am in town.

i went with a friend of mine a d we had the goose breast (Gänsebrust) with the Orange filet and the red beet. it was simply one of the best dishes i've ever had. this place is a must visit!

dreadful service, the headman sat us, family members down, but the waiter was so bad that we got up and left before the order. do not allow a place that allows such unrest.

We first passed by the restaurant, but it contains much moore than it looks. Very nice inside, the waiter most competent and the food with a personal touch from the chef.

We had a great visit in hahenklee.the food and service was very good at this resturant.if we come back again. Er will defenitley vist ratsstuben again.

a fantastic meal, we felt like in the sky. we have everything, and that's why we don't miss anything. we can certainly recommend!
