I absolutely love this place! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is excellent. The chips and salsa take me back to the flavors of the old Pascual's in Santa Barbara, which is definitely a compliment. The tacos are enormous, the prices are fair, and they offer fantastic specials throughout the week. Even though this location is a bit off the beaten path, it’s definitely worth the trip.
The owner charges extra for almost everything! The food isn’t very good and they often run out of items. The interior is outdated with plenty of tears in the booths. One time, I waited over an hour for my meal, and when I requested a discount, the owner flatly refused. There was never any apology for the long wait.
The food here is excellent. However, I was taken aback by the sarcastic humor from the man at the counter when we arrived. He was there alone and, judging by his demeanor, it seemed he might be better suited for kitchen work until he improves his customer service skills. It will be some time before I return.

I haven't seen this restaurant open for the past three months; it's always closed. Since I live next door, I notice what's happening every day. The sign indicates that it's closed for construction, but no work appears to be taking place. It looks like someone has been camping out in the parking lot.
This review has come very many months late! I visited this place while on vacation from Miami and the service and food was excellent! I would definitely recommend Raul?s Mexican restaurant to anyone in the area without hesitation! Authentic Mexicanfood, great service, and very reasonable prices!
Food is great. I was quite appalled by the cynical sense of humor the man behind the counter gave my mom. he was by himself at the time we got there. I believe he worked behind the kitchen probably where he needs to stay until he learns customer serviceskills. will be a while before I go back.
This review is long overdue! I visited Raul's Mexican restaurant while on vacation from Miami and was very impressed with the service and food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. They offer authentic Mexican cuisine, excellent service, and reasonable prices.

I have been a patron of this restaurant for more than 33 years, so it must be good. It's unfortunate to see that they are temporarily closed.
Excellent service! The food was great, and the staff was very friendly. I’ll definitely be returning to try the chile rellenos!
