One of my favorite budget-friendly Japanese restaurants! Just a heads up—when you visit RAWR Sushi, be prepared for a fast-casual experience. This isn’t a five-star Michelin dining spot. Instead, they offer delicious and affordable comfort food perfect for the everyday Springfield local. Be sure to try the dragon roll and the Curry Chicken Katsu bowl; they’re fantastic every time. If you're willing to spend a bit more, the Unagidon is definitely worth it. While the ramen isn’t the best in the area, it's $3 to $5 cheaper than the more authentic ramen shops, so we can overlook that. I’ll definitely be back to RAWR Sushi soon!

If you're searching for a sushi or Japanese restaurant in the NOVA area that offers exceptional quality and outstanding service, you will be hard pressed to find a better deal. This place is truly a hidden gem, perfect for satisfying those sushi cravings when you want something quick and enjoyable — a state of mind I often find myself in! My favorites are the maki rolls and the pork or chicken katsu; the ramen is also excellent. The staff is consistently attentive and very friendly. I can confidently say it's one of my top choices for takeout in the area!

If you're looking for a stylish sit-down restaurant, this isn't the spot for you. However, if you prioritize consistently fresh and delicious sushi at prices that beat any other place I've tried in Northern Virginia, then Rawr Sushi is the perfect choice. One of the standout features is the friendly staff, who take the time to get to know you by name and remember your sushi preferences. They've definitely made me a loyal and happy regular customer.

Super good quality for an amazing price. The man at the counter was also very nice. The rolls are huge, and the filling to rice ratio is great. Highly recommend!!!
