There are two signs that indicate a diner is a great choice: a parking lot full of pickup trucks or a place where local law enforcement gathers. Ray's fits the bill perfectly. We arrived for an early breakfast and found the "Table of Wisdom" already at work—an assembly of local retirees solving the world’s issues. At another table, police officers were coordinating their day. Both groups greeted us warmly. The food was equally impressive. I ordered the half Ray's plate, featuring a delightful combination of sausages, bacon, and ham cooked with hash browns and vegetables, all topped with two eggs.
