I believe this is our 6th visit to Rays on the River and unfortunately it fell short. I order the same thing every time we come, the filet mignon medium rare- this is the first time I’ve had to send my entree back. Unfortunately it was overcooked, they took it back no problem but when it came back it was rare, and didn’t have much flavor which was disappointing for a $74 steak. My boyfriend got the surf and turf and his steak was cooked perfect but they either forgot or no longer do the little butter dish with the flame under for the lobster. Celebrated our wedding anniversary and overall is was a great dining experience. We reserved for a Sunday evening , to which our surprise, it wasn’t busy at all. We asked to be seated outside to enjoy the beautiful landscape and scenery . Dinner felt intimate . Our Ribeyes were cooked to perfection, definitely recommend! Our waitresses were attentive, gave great recommendations, and the customer service was good. Overall it was a great experience! The only cons about seating outside, we’re the mosquitoes.

2024.09.21 had a great date night here. Had the she crab soup and crab cakes which were fantastic. Best we’ve had in awhile. We sat outside on the deck and watch the sunset and the river. The fans on the deck are quite wonderful to provide a light breeze and keep cool. I had the peppercorn ribeye and my date had the wedge salad to finish. Both were great and would order again. Excellent AGAIN! After multiple visits we were not disppointed by anything or with any one. We were celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary, just the two of us, and enjoyed every minute and every detail. Thanks for ALWAYS being the best, and ALWAYS presenting the best possible experience. We chose Ray’s for my son’s 21st birthday. They pulled out all of the stops to make him feel special from the time we walked in the door. The service was impeccable and the food- top notch. The view is amazing , as well. We all had steaks and they were cooked to perfection. We will be back!

David was the PERFECT server. The food was good. The drinks could have been stronger, but other than that 10/10
