It's not the same as it used to be years ago when Jitubhai was there. The staff and cooks have changed and so has the quality. Staff at the counter is flat faced who probably haven't smiled in years to welcome the customer. Some of the food items still taste as good as earlier but many items have poor quality now. Bhatura has a different taste now. Sambar has poor quality and taste now. The good thing is the decor. It seems that the owner doesn't care anymore and shows clearly because anytime you go there, you will find much less customers than they had years ago.
Quality has degraded over the years!We ordered a rawa dosa which took a lot of time, when we asked at the counter, the lady said in a rude manner, "its rawa dosa so it takes time to make! "Even though the restaurant was empty and no orders ahead of us, they took their own sweet time to prepare the food!We patiently waited, when the food arrived, it was cold and not good, we did not eat and left, they did not even ask why we left!We will not be going here, there are much better restaurants in Artesia, so dont waste your time by going to Rasraj!
We ordered Falooda, Ragda Pattice, and a Veg Frankie. Unfortunately, aside from the Falooda, nothing else was impressive. The Frankie was overly sweet, possibly due to the tamarind sauce—it was unlike any Frankie I've had before. The Ragda Pattice was also disappointing; it simply tasted like chole. On the bright side, the Falooda was excellent and had just the right amount of sweetness.
Sorry nothing good about this place. We ordered sev puri and masala tea. The sev puri chat tasted stale foul smell. The tea was horrible, even with one sip. We were courteous to ask the paneer to make a different tea. The owner was rude and impolitely declined to do so. Pls avoid this pace and don’t water your time. Try other places who respect and treat customers with decency

If you find yourself on Pioneer Boulevard with no other options and want to risk getting sick, then this is the place for you. I ordered a rose lassi, and it was both sour and warm. They refused to exchange it. The pani puri water was also spicy and warm. I will never return here! I’m sorry, but I have to give 0 stars for customer service!
I have visited this place multiple times, as its one of my favourite Indian restaurants in this area. I really like the taste it’s similar to the food which we eat in india. Price is reasonable quality is good. Ambiance is great and very spacious. Road side Parking is free for one hour after that its minimal.
The quality and portion sizes have declined. This time, all the vegetable dishes had the same taste, as if the same spices were used in each one. Additionally, the portions were significantly smaller compared to my previous visits.
I absolutely loved the food! This is probably the only restaurant in the states that makes a good dabeli. The undhiyu was bomb and it was fr one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever visited. 10/10

0 for service they wouldnt let you sample the sweets and charge for taking samples never coming back. lady way too rude to even bother to come in again
