Well this place has gone downhill, very sad to see.The enchilada I ordered and the fish burger my wife ordered were inedible. The taste and texture was like they had been microwaved from frozen. Worse if you've has the Amy's microwave enchilada, the Amy's beats the Rebar enchilada BY FAR.The fish was rubbery and solid like a hockey puck. The chick peas were from a can. The corn was from a can. Gone was the fresh delicious food with bright flavour and pleasing texture.My enchilada had very little filling, I couldn't even find some of the ingredients listed on the menu, and it was swimming in a pool of WAY too much sauce that seemed intended to hide the condition of the food. My boyfriends family are long time fans of Rebar (they have the cookbook and all , so I was so excited to be in Victoria to come here and try their recommendations!! Between my boyfriend and I, we split the Almond Burger, the daily gazpacho soup and the rebar salad. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. We left feeling full and happy. Staff were all lovely as well. You will find us back here next time we are in Victoria! :

I chose this long established eatery for a group of local friends/collaborators while visiting from the States. The healthy, well presented and portioned dishes did not disappoint. My reservation was handled courteously and the fun atmosphere was conducive for us. Special thanks to Andrea for her friendly, attentive service.

Friendly staff, fun casual setting, generous portion size meals with good flavour. Variety of options for the vegetarian, fish and meat eaters, raw foodies and plant based. Food was super yum and VERY filling, I had the vegan Reuben and loved it, the homemade mayo and ketchup for the potato wedges is amazing! Our server was very sweet also.

I got the 3 sisters enchiladas they were good! Unfortunately our experience was tarnished by the incredibly slow service. It look a half hour to get our drinks alone!
