Red Barn Restaurant

We visited on Oct 4 and again Oct 5 and was very pleased both times. First day I had chicken penne and loved it, another had beans and fish cakes, (SALTY) , another had lasagna and ceasar salad and loved it and the last one had chicken ceasar and we all had a doggie bag to take with us. Everything was so good and after trying a few other places we decided to return the next day. I had turkey dinner, another lobster roll and onion rings, another had fish and chips, can't remember what the last one had. Service was quick and staff over the top friendly and I would definitely return when in the area again.

Came upon this restaurant by accident because of road detours…wow, what a find. The restaurant was just opening at 11:00 AM so wasn’t busy as yet. Service was quick, efficient, but above all so very friendly. My husband had the “ All Day Breakfast” I had the Lobster Roll which hands down was the best I have ever eaten. No fillers, just fresh lobster chunks on a fresh bun with mayonnaise lettuce. My husbands meal was also excellent, the coffee was so tasty as well. A very pleasant experience we will be back before vacation time is over.

There is nothing special about this restaurant. It serves the typical food for tourists: burgers, fish and seafood dishes, sandwiches and soups. But the food is well prepared and tasty. Service is friendly and attentive. Prices are good. Decor is very basic; the view is of the mini-golf course behind the restaurant. And there is a large gift shop for a bit of diversion. It was fine for lunch on the road, but not a destination by any means.

Stopped by on a Sunday morning just after opening time (11:30 . Only one wait staff on and she had a full house. She was attentive to all customers and very, very friendly. We order fish cakes and beans (OMG Yum! and Bacon Eggs (Equally yum! gift shop was cute, but not locally made products for the most part. Typical Made In China souvenirs. In these Covid-19 times, all places are trying their best to do their best. This restaurant, like most others, now has reduced seating, but the food is still great. There were 3 in our group, 2 had the Roast Turkey dinner and it was really good. I had the Clubhouse with coated fries. It was delicious. All places are hurting these days and we try to support local. This place is a thumbs up.

As a group of four we had three clam chowder a and a soup du jour for lunch. All food was excellent. The service was also great with the ladies involved being attentive and really enjoyable. It was the servers who made the visit memorable for me. There is also a really good adjacent gift shop. This is a good place to stop en route.

The Red Barn was clean and staff was friendly. Table had lobster sandwich and fish and fries. The fish and fries were good. The lobster sandwich was ok but came with no fries. For the price it should have included fries. For dessert, the homemade carrot cake was horrible, tasted like dish soap but the lemon meringue pie was good.

I wasn’t sure if I would like seafood chowder, but I ordered a cup at the Red Barn and it was delicious! My husband also love it. I had a lobster roll as well and it was great. My daughter loved her chicken strips and fries (the fries were awesome). After eating we played a fun round of mini golf. Reserva una mesa ahora

Not terrible, not exceptional. This restaurant serves basic hamburger, fries, sandwiches etc. Nothing particularly wrong with the food, price, service etc. Its just simply average

Food was great and our server Jenn was too!! The lady in the gift shop seemed a little ornery when she would come into the restaurant.
