The server was polite however he got our order wrong. Asked if I could upgrade my chips to loaded fries and he didn’t do that, instead he charged us for the loaded fries and got normal fries too. When the food came it was lovely, however our sauces were missing. We asked for the bill and it hadn’t arrived so we asked again 15 minutes later as we could see the waiter had forgot. It still hadn’t arrived so we had to ask for a third time. Half an hour after originally asking we eventually got the bill; when they brought the bill we asked for a card machine. I had made a reservation, but when we arrived on time, there was no table available, which makes you wonder why they take reservations in the first place. Our main server was excellent, but another server forgot our drink order three times. We specifically requested no jalapeños, yet one of our dishes arrived with them, and that was 20 minutes after we got our meals, which was quite frustrating! The food itself was good, but I wouldn't go back simply because the place was so disorganized.
The food and service at this restaurant are exceptional. The portion sizes are generous, so I would recommend sharing a starter next time. The cocktails are also beautifully crafted. The staff was excellent, and the atmosphere is lovely. I highly recommend it!
This is my 5th overall visit to Red Dog. I ordered the Gooey Louie burger, which was phenomenal. The service was quick and friendly, I will be returning again in the near future.
