After reading a few reviews I decided I would give this place a try, to see if it lived up to the the expectation set by other people. Straight away I was so blown away by the service and food that I had to agree 100% with so many of the great reviews this restaurant has, that this little place is a gem.Ordered quite a number of different soups that were all delicious for starters (tom yum major standout). They all had the right amount of spice for the dish, in addition to being wonderfully presented and a great size.The cuisine is all reasonably well priced, and would definitely state that it is worth it anyway. We dined here on a Saturday (based on Trip Advisor driven recommendations). It was stinkingly hot, well beyond the ability of air conditioners to cope, perhaps, but I was dripping in sweat. The staff are lovely, engaging and helpful. The food is good, no doubt, above the average Asian food. Their flavours are interesting and sophisticated. There's a lot of chilli based dishes (but don't fear their "chili" rating system - it's targeted at a chilli-inexperienced westerner), but despite that they manage to provide an interesting and tasty series of dishes, that stand out from each other and yet maintain a consistent quality. Dessert, like in any Asian restaurant is dull.
We have visited Reg Galanga several times. It is our favourite BYO restaurant in Bulimba. Great food, friendly service, good ambience and great value for money. Their steamed Dim Sims and Curry Puffs are our favourite entrees. We are trying to work our way through the main course menu and they have all been good but some of our favourites have been Salmon Lovers, Green Nim Jam Pork Belly and Pad Thai Prawns. Food prices are very competitive and because it is BYO , we can afford to eat out twice as often as dining at other local licensed restaurants.
A friend and I had dinner here after a movie. We shared two mains and there were leftovers. The chicken with cashew nuts with some steamed rice was delicious and the Pad Thai with prawns was also fabulous. Highly recommended. We did order a soft drink each during the meal and they never arrived, but they weren't on the bill either so no harm done.

Hands down the best thia in Brisbane. The food is authentic and its so much more than stir-frys and curries. If you go, please order the chef's specials. The crispy barramundi is exceptional, as is the salmon with lychees. Another plus, its BYO wine!
We enjoyed delicious Thai takeaway from Red Galanga. We had dim sims and spring rolls for entree which were yummy! For mains we had a beef, chicken and pork dish and all were tasty and fresh! We will order again :-) Yum!
Our regular Thai place was closed for the holidays so we tried the Red Galanga Norman Park, and found the meals to be as nice or better than our regular place but it cost a lot more overall, so we won't be going back.
Consistently providing a great meal. The service is efficient and the menu has great choices. Price is mid range. The food is very nice. It is a little noisy inside though.

We travel 20 minutes just to eat Asian Fusion here. Food is very fresh and the prices are reasonable. Love that it's BYO for all alcohol too!
Great Thai food just off Oxford St in Bulimba. Fresh ingredients, gluten free options available and perfect levels of spice.
