While the food deserves a better rating, service drops it down a notch. When we sat down, it took a long time for the staff to get to our table, and when preparing the table with utensils, she just grabbed ones from other tables and moved them over to ours... just odd. <br/ <br/ But food is solid. Awesome!!! What a great find.... Came in for take out, ordered pad thai, red curry, spicy eggplant and cashew chicken. The food was delicious! The chicken was tender and yummy (no grissle-like many of the other thai places here in KW). The spicy eggplant was perfectly spicy. I can't pick a favourite and will be back to try more from your menu.

Pleasant Surprise in non descript strip mall. The Red Ginger is truly a find. The food is fresh, well made and spices taste authentic. I had the Nasi Goreng and really enjoyed it. My daughter (11), my dad (87) and my husband all enjoy this place. Don't be put off by the location the inside is clean and bright.

Recommend it!. I went to Waterloo to visit a friend and she recommended Red Ginger Modern Thai+Viet for dinner. I ordered the pad thai. I loved it. It was one of the best pad thai I ever had. In addition to the delicious meal, the service was quick. Staff was friendly. I totally recommend it!

I liked this places mostly because of ambience. This is thai and vietnamese restaurant. Took coconut shrimp, chicken wanton and chicken fried rice. All the foods were awesome.

Had their green curry after a trip to Thailand; the curry I had here and there were about the same (both amazing). Also recommend the sticky rice/mango dessert.

Ordered the curry pad Thai. Extremely fresh ingredients and quick service. Great deal on lunch and dinner specials. Would definitely go back here again.
