I think more people need to take the time to leave reviews. A good review can go a long way for a business. If you like a place, do it a favour, let them and everyone else know! That being said, I've been in the industry for 6 years now. This is by far my favourite restaurant in town. Food is always excellent, staff is supper professional, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Do yourself a favour and start with an app. The squash fritters are awesome! The menu changes a couple times a year I think but the last time I got the flat iron steak. this place never disappointed! I was here a few times, but usually I was eating. their curries are one must, and other dishes are also creative works of art. it is always difficult to decide what to order because they are all soouo good! we went for the first time to brunch at the weekend, and was once again a blown! everything looks delicious on the menu, and so are the daily specialties! fortunately there were three of us and we have 4 dishes to taste! the daily curry special was again my choice, and it hurts me every time! my kumpels ordered the crab and steak benedict, oh my two are to die! in any case the place to be if I would like to show friends a good time or for any special jubilee...
Red House was a delightful experience. Our server was friendly and marked out the menu items that could be adapted GF. She even brought out the bottles of a few drinks I was interested in so I could read the ingredients list. Our appies (salad and ceviche) weren't mind blowing but definitely refreshing. The cornish hen was pretty amazing though very crispy, savoury, and tender. There was a pleasantly down to earth yet classy ambience it was a special treat for us.
the eating is fantastic, localized and the majority is made in the house! chef dan and his team have unique and tasty items and the plate presentation is spectacular. the waiting staff and the bar staff are extremely knowledgeable and always have great wein suggestions. this is my way to uptown for a special occasion or a cocktail on the beautiful terrace!
yesterday fought for the first time in the red house, and it will certainly not be the last. miranda loved the atmosphere friendly, attentive and comprehensible. they enjoy the steak, the highly recommended guard at their chef came for the creation of such delicacies. I will certainly recommend them!
