Red Lion Harbour - Reserva de mesa

We came here at lunch time on a very sunny day, so the place was packed. We did find a table [the last one]. The guy behind the Bar where I had to order the food, did not seem to know what he was doing, was rather slow and eventually got it all wrong, both food and drink. The Quality of the food was acceptable, but this being Pub Food only, the price is high, which is understandable, since they have such a 'captive ' clientele [this seems to be the only place to eat in Clovelly]. Would not return.

Firstly the price for getting down to the bottom of Clovelly with my 82 yr old mum, £5 down-£5 return (gulp)Then the pub food, horrendous value for money, £5.50 for soup! £4.50 for fries! £3 for coleslaw!Plus coffee and tea, £18 I suppose dick Turpin wore a mask, needless to say I won’t be back and I live in the area.

We had a fantastic experience once again at the Red Lion. The food was exceptional as always, and we are truly grateful to the staff for their excellent service. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for friendly staff, delicious food, and breathtaking views. It's definitely worth a visit.

Great restaurant in a great hotel in a great special village. We both had the beautiful Spiced Duck fennel starter; i had the Lamb Rack my husband the Sirloin. Both melt in the mouth gorgeous. Well done to thd Chef!!! Reserva una mesa ahora

Its a long way down but well worth a trip, we had the biggest prawn cocktail in the world! Amazing, lovely staff! Warning, don't drink too much or climbing back up that hill could be tricky!

We had lunch here service was a little slow but very friendly they were busy. Food was very enjoyable but the best thing here is the location just wonderful.

The food wasn't worth the long wait. The chips were luke warm and the fish had very soggy batter. Very disappointed Reserva una mesa ahora

I can't fathom why people would pay £9 each to hike down a steep windy hill to a small bay and pub.

We came to Clovelly because storm Hannah had prevented us going to Lundy island.
