Update 6/12/23 Called in for lunch yesterday around 13.30 had trouble finding a parking space, luckily a couple who were shopping across the road, not from the Red Lion went back to their car and vacated the space for us to pull into. That was one hurdle over, walked into the pub expecting it to be packed solid due to the volume of vehicles in the car park only to find a handful of locals at the bar. Tables and chairs were plentiful, but no sign of any food about, being eaten or otherwise, no sign of cutlery, condiments or anything else that implied food was for sale. Finally freshly made delicious food in Latchingdon!! And sorry to anyone that offends, but as a vegetarian it was so great to have veggie and vegan options, that actually had flavour and felt part of the menu (not just an after thought). This coupled with the most friendly and welcoming atmosphere, where everyone is made to feel part of the family! All served with a fresh cold pint, or a glass of nice wine, literally the best combination in the world! Thanks to Uncle Bucks and the team at the Red Lion for the perfect Friday night, we can’t wait to be back already!!

This local pub is absolutely fantastic. The management team and staff are incredibly friendly. They have every amenity you could ask for, including Sky TV, a pool table, dart boards, gaming machines, and a jukebox. The food and rooms are also of very high quality. If you're in the area, you simply have to visit.

This lovely pub has welcoming staff and regulars, as well as an adorable pub dog. The establishment and amenities are spotlessly clean and welcoming to dogs. We enjoyed delicious smashed lamb shish kebabs served in a burger bun, with a side salad and chips. Highly recommended.
This friendly pub offers excellent, simple food and a great pint of Guinness. The highlight is the in-house dog, Roo, who is a favorite among customers.

Was by far the best burger I have had for a long time, I would recommend over and over.
Football, nice people, great food. Burgers were top tier. Very kid friendly!
