March 2023 Update: 4-star service. Food was great as always but service was lacking. On 02 April 2023, I came to this Red Lobster for my mother's birthday. We had one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The service was utterly terrible. Upon seating, the tables were not clean. We did not receive any utensils. It took nearly 15 min to get our order taken. It took another 10 min to get our bread. It took 25 min total to receive the cocktail drink we ordered. Then after nearly an hour the part of the order came out, the other part was still being prepared. The server still did not give us any utensils. She ended up giving us their takeout PLASTIC utensils. Who can eat steak with a plastic fork and knife?? In a sit down restaurant? The manager was disrespectful and unhelpful, especially considering we waited nearly two hours for our food. His response was dismissive, saying, "Well, you ate, so what do you want from me?" He didn’t even come over after I requested assistance an hour earlier. We witnessed him scolding the staff because customers were unhappy with the slow service. He closed the doors to prioritize the guests but left an elderly couple waiting for over an hour to be seated. The only bright spot was our friendly server, who was a student in beauty school. We made sure to tip her well since the kitchen staff shortage wasn’t her fault. After such unpleasant service, we will not be returning.
The food was absolutely delicious! The "all you can eat" shrimp options are a must-try, and the Garlic Shrimp was simply perfect. Everything, including the salmon, crab legs, and baked potato, was cooked to perfection. The cooks on July 8, 2023, around 5 PM truly did an excellent job. Our server, Sierra, was a delight; she had a lovely personality and was smiling from start to finish. I spoke with the manager, Kevin, to let him know how much my husband and I enjoyed our meal. Kevin represented the team wonderfully, introducing himself and shaking hands. Overall, it was a fantastic experience! Five stars for Red Lobster in Lanham!

I personally don't care for red lobster but since my friend wanted to eat there I said OK. The display of the food was not perfect and the quality of the food is overpriced. The staff was very playful not professional and vulgar language. 2 of the waitresses didn't even know if they had happy hour or not. One of the hostess dropped the utensils wrapped in a napkin on the floor and put it up and put it back onto the tray/menus in which they were carrying. One pic because it was the best part of our evening and it was made perfectly and it was delicious.
the soup was spoiled I don't know how they serve something like that in a supposedly prestigious restaurant like that. Talk to the manager to tell him not to serve something like that because someone could get sick. and he just said ok i will fix theproblem. Not even 25% gave us anything. The waitress asked for bread twice. it was slow. the food took forever to arrive. Inever go back. trash. I left with a stomach ache. I was disgusted to taste that sour soup
10/22- Sat at the bar, had a great meal a couple of drinks. Antoinette the bartender was awesome. Spoke with the GM. Highly recommended, I will be back. Thank you for the great service. Empty glasses! 6/23- Sat at the bar again for a couple of drinks. Shae, the bartender, was great. I ordered the a Long Island Ice Tea, B52 Shrimp. Highly recommended, I truly enjoyed myself.
It's been years since I've been to R.L. But they did not disappoint. The food was delicious, especially the cheddar biscuits that were soft, and very tasty. I was given a bag full to take home with my take out food.
