Red Lobster Midlothian

My wife ordered the Lobster and Steak special. The lobster was small and really didn?t taste that fresh (definitely frozen), the sirloin was pretty good. I ordered the sailor?s platter lunch, it came with shrimp scampi, popcorn shrimps and fried white fish. The shrimp scampi was delicious and cooked to perfection. The popcorn shrimps were small as expected and nicely fried and crispy. The fried fish was disappointed because when I tried to break the fried fillet into halves, all the batter fell apart and the fish still stayed whole. The fish was overcooked and dry.

The food was amazing. The bread had just fallen from heaven!!! The butter just oozed out the cow!!! The garlic was just pulled out the ground. My Admiral's Feast was fried just right. Then I need to wash it all down and had nothing drink for about 10 minutes. She was nice tho ?

This is only 1/2 of what was wrong what our to go order. On top of the food being super cold when we got it. The food was disgusting, tasted nothing like the other restaurants we have been to. The Scampi had NO flavor. It tasted like all oil was GREEN!

The food was good, the waitress, Amanda, was excellent. She was very pleasant and she checked the table often to make sure my party of 4 had bread and refills on our drinks. Overall, it was a good dining choice!
