It feels like the restaurant is trying to ride the wave of the new Shanghainese trend, similar to spots like Little Alley and CheLi, but it falls short, likely due to the chef not being from Shanghai. The eel dish, which was supposed to be something special, ended up being mostly bean sprouts. The black silk chicken soup was disappointingly small for $18—it could barely fit in a teacup. They didn’t even have the coconut chicken soup, which is supposed to be their specialty. I recommend calling ahead if you're keen to try it, but honestly, this place isn’t worth the money. Shocking service, hair was in my food. My grandmother choked on the food as there was a bone in it. They did not bother helping her and left her to suffer. When we come to pay, the woman then stole mums card out of her hand and was very rude to us. She then told us to f off out of the restaurant. Would not recommend at all to anyone. This needs shutting down as this is not safe.
the food was good and our table was ready early. there was a birthday party on the tables behind us and they were pretty loud. In portions were huge, and we had some leads about what to order. we will be back even though it is really delicious
I was quite disappointed with my experience. My order was missing a meal, and on top of that, the staff questioned my honesty about whether I had actually received it. Additionally, the food itself was lacking in flavor.

This is an excellent spot for lunch with hearty portions! I ordered a simple fried rice with scallions, which was tasty and very fulfilling. However, it was a bit greasy and could use a little less oil.
I think I received an extra order by mistake. I ordered 6 but got 12! I don’t mind at all, as it was delicious. Please feel free to charge me for the extra!
