Discovered randomly, at the turn of a alley, we were seduced by the decor and attracted to the 'real' 'hot chocolate. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. The window is well supplied and really makes you want. The Basque cake is very good and well provided in cream, very important to us. Hot chocolate is delicious, a perfect dosage between sugar and bitterness of a quality chocolate. I recommend and I will gladly return!
We went to this tiny place more than once during our weeks stay in Cauterets. There is maybe seating for 12 people, certainly no more but the service and things available are fab. The spiced hot chocolate is amazing and we also bought some really really great, not hugely expensive chocolate boxes for people back home. Lots of different types of chocolate/truffles to choose from. Somewhere not to miss.
A wonderful little shop and cafe, with the best hot chocolate ever. Went for the chocolate tart too, as we were cold and wet after hiking for two hours in the rain! Had to wait a few minutes for a table, but it was well worth the wait!
What more do I need to say? Tea is fabulous and the chocolate is amazing. Tiny shop with seating for maybe 12 but did not disappoint just what you need after a long day in the hills... Reserva una mesa ahora
I have enjoyed the hot chocolate in here for years, every time we go to Cauterets it is on our list of must do's. DELICIOUS x
