Refuge above Aussois, accessible in an hour from the car park upstream. Located on the path leading to the Aussois Pass and at the tip of the observatory. Refuge well maintained, friendly, listening and very efficient staff. The food is very good, local, and adapted when you come from a ransom (plank garnished for me this noon). I recommend.
Nice welcome. Friendly staff. Suitable showers and sanitary facilities. The proposed dinner was consistent and tasteful. Great breakfast... Social distancing is unfortunately not respected or meals (table of 12 people for 11 hikers!) or in dormitories (7 hikers in a room of 8 places. Thank you.
It's our annual hike. We love it. The view is beautiful. The blueberry pie is exceptional as well as fruit kefir. Transfers available. Access to the shelter was greatly improved by avoiding the entire marsh area by providing large stones and a wooden bridge.

A CAF refuge is always the top! Here you will have the reception and the high mountain atmosphere, I recommend.
Superb family or friends walk, no difficulty. At the shelter, I recommend the blueberry pie.
