Refuge Moede Anterne

This refuge put on a wonderful jazz evening on 21st June. Most of the diners were staying there but we walked up in the late afternoon, had hot wine and then the jazz started brilliant! Dinner followed after about an hour of jazz, followed by another session of music. When it was over we left in the dusk with torches and arrived back at our car after about two hours in complete darkness. A wonderful midsummer experience. The food was fine, much as you would expect in a refuge where deliveries are seldom but the whole place was so welcoming and a most memorable evening.

I find the comments a little hard but each one of them is of course his opinion. It's the time I sleep. this refuge is very well located with a breathtaking view of the white mountain. the dormitory was very clean and the cozy bed linen x bunk beds). The showers were certainly closed, but it's not like we weren't warned. plan towels for a quick toilet. friendly welcome. I find the food basket a little expensive but it was copied from my point of view. this gite is perfect and ideally located to make star randos.

Nice stay, nice treees staff. actually there are no showers, but we can make a wash basin toilet, take clothes. It's a shelter not a hotel. very good evening meal: dots and polenta. comfortable bedding. Thanks to the shelter staff.

Bring your own dinner and breakfast. Enjoy their cold beer but forget the food. You'd think that the access road would enable them to bring in decent food but it is skimpy and miserly both portions and quality. Yuck.

very nice place! exactly what we needed in our trek. the vibe and atmophir is good and warm.
