Firstly, the restaurant atmosphere is OK. Bigger and more upmarket than I expected, after having visited the previous restaurant at this Highgate location. Menu looked attractive with some nice options, prices seemed a little high - but as others have mentioned, that seems to be the deal with Perth's Indian restaurants in general. Service was OK. I was initially intrigued by the nice char on the chicken tikka and the skewered Paneer cheese, but was disappointed by the general sweetness in the sauces and the lack of "depth" in the flavour. We attended as a party of 4 for my sons 22nd birthday & were greeted by the beautiful aromas wafting out from the kitchen on arrival. We had mostly Nepalese entrees as we hadn't had the pleasure of this delightfully spicy cuisine . Suffice to say it was delicious . This set the tone for the rest of the meal & we had a number of Nepalese & Indian dishes for main which were shared. The food was great , the service was very attentive & friendly . The restaurant doesn't look much from the outside & is off the tourist strip of Mt Lawley but is well worth the extra km travel to the end of Walcott Street . Went to this restaurant after reading a review. It Is Nepalese & Indian cuisine. The waitress was from Kathmandu and was very friendly and happy to stop and chat with us. My husband has been to Nepal and was excited to meet someone from there. We started the meal with the chicken mo mo entire. This consisted of 8 small dumplings filled with spiced chicken mince. It was delicious. For the main course we had the Kukhura Ko Masu which is a Nepalese style chicken curry, and lamb Kadhai with bell peppers and spices. Dined at this small restaurant in the Subiaco Railway Station Mall near Woolworths and it was absolutely delightful. The food and service was outstanding - in fact the food was memorable. Nepalese food cooked in the traditional way with fabulous spicy and flavoursome sauces and curries. No bottled sauces here. They advertisie as being a Nepalese restaurant. There was not one single dish on their menu that was Nepalese. The menu is Indian cuisine. Very poor service and standard of food. The bhindi was not edible and when we brought it to their notice nothing was done about that. They did not offer even to take it off the bill. Will definitley not return.
