We called in here for lunch after a morning in Laguiole...we hadn't reserved a table so were very lucky to get one as, after half an hour, the restaurant was full. Very welcoming owners staff who took the time to explain things and check whether we were enjoying our lunch. The food was superb! A good selection of traditional, local dishes using local produce. The clientele were a mixture of workmen (always a good sign! , locals us! Thoroughly enjoyable lunch. Highly recommended...would advise booking.....we were lucky!

You haven't booked? Then you may not be able to find a table. Worth trying though as it is a good place to eat. That is why it is almost always full. Don't expect fancy food. This is a place with honest, good quality food and plenty of it. The local cuisine is respected and their aligot is wonderful. Don't hesitate to ask for a bit more, if you're not already defeated. Wild boar, deer, it might be on offer. Check it out!

Très bon restaurant,tout est parfait l'accueil souriant,le menu avec entrée au foie gras le filet de sandre parfait sans parler du sauté de veau que mes amis et mon mari avaient choisi et que dire de la tarte meringue au citron une tuerie,il faut bien-sûr réserver car même en semaine comme aujourd'hui c'est complet une adresse à ne pas manquer

Superb food, extremely nice staff. We had prix fixe Sunday lunch and there was a very good variety of local Aveyron style dishes,including non-meat. An excellent find!
