An undeniably exceptional setting, the view of the lake and the castle is unbeatable. Traditional map, no surprise but quite honorable. Too bad that the service, remaining smiling and friendly, is really approximate. The mistakes of recipients were chained from the beginning to the end, the coffee placed on the wrong table and then resumed, the dishes confused between the tables... Really bad... A small effort to introduce servers would be welcome. Otherwise the contents of the plate without fault.
What I'm waiting for when I'm going to eat at the restaurant: 1- the reception and the quality of the service, 2- the appreciation of my meal, 3- the environment =deco, part of intimacy. .. 4- the report quality price. Every time I restored to Le Relais Valcastel, my 4 requirements were met! I am delighted to return to each of my stays in Corrèze. Bravo for all the efforts provided, for the dynamism and smile of the team.

the new restorer of the valcastel relay offered us his new dishes that we enjoyed with great pleasure. excellent desserts! a very good note for the gourmet menu; a beautiful season in perspective with a nice and competent team.
