Sleeping in a real castle! We loved it! We had a room on the third floor with a view of Neuhausen and Schwartenbergbaude upstairs on the mountain. Great! Friendly service and the food is delicious. Used the beauty in the cellar, delicious! During the tour of Schloss Purschenstein, we discovered the special history of the castle and Neuhausen. The construction around 1200, remodeling, intent of the Schönberg family in 1945, the fire in 1989, and the remodelion to the hotel by Family Praagman from Holland. Neuhausen has a nice walk, surprising view next to the Chech border. There's a nutcracker and a chair museum. Bottoms up.
It is a beautiful ambience, but this does not catch the bad service. The dolls are served without spoons, the tartar without SLz and pepper. We had to ask for everything. In April 2015 we spent a few relaxing days at Schlosshotel Purschenstein on the occasion of our wedding day. We were very enthusiastic about the tastefully furnished rooms, the very friendly and helpful staff as well as the excellent food. The rich breakfast buffet also left nothing to be desired. Starting from the master house to the hotel manager super friendly, courteous and helpful. Beautiful house, a bit like sleeping in the museum with a wonderful ambience. During our short trip to the Purschenstein Castle, we ate in the remise every evening. Every evening we were more than positively surprised! Incredibly delicious food, served at a high level. We agree: we've never been better out of the house than here! Next year we are definitely back! Keep going!
