Went to celebrate birthday for dinner. We had chicken dish, fish and pasta and all meals were delicious. We ordered salad before main meal, thinking small but the salad plate was full and it could have be a full meal. We were very pleased with taste and presentation. English speaking waiter was a plus and very friendly and attentive service. Very nicely renovated place with great dining room, but also outdoor seating, bar and many more small rooms. Hotel breakfast was served in old library: they also have event hall which was a old church. Hotel looked very nice as well.

For me this is one of Kassel's best restaurants. It's situated next to the river Fulda in a newly renovated medieval building. It has a gorgeous bar and a romantic atmosphere. But what is most important: Good food from a menu with regional food. The chef offers an open view into his kitchen.

We took my parents in law for lunch. We ordered a la cart. The soup of the day was lovely. My dad in law’s steak tender and my wild pork out of this world. We have been here before and had the lunch menu. Totally worth it!

We stayed here for a night and just adored it. The restaurant is warm and cozy and the staff was amazing.
