Restaurant a l'Oree du Bois

Tuesday, October 20th, we're at 12:15. The room is practically empty, 5/6 people max. Five people? No, impossible and in the tone it's go see elsewhere!!!! I will not make this review if at least the person had been friendly, but it is far from being the case, we disturb her! I better understand the remarks of other travellers who denigrate this place! We wanted 5 Flam, of which it seems that they are specialists.. bravo to the pseudo restorers, they do not participate in the quality image of this beautiful region, of Alsace! We ate an excellent Flame at the 4 Châteaux Restaurants at Flekenstein Castle! A frozen probably... but it's nice to be welcomed.

The inconspicuous restaurant on the outskirts of Lembach offers flame cakes of a genuine Alsace style. The obviously family-run restaurant has the corresponding certificate of the Confrerie de la veritable tarte flambee and this right. The classic flame cake is indeed classically good, the flame cake with Münsterkäse a real discovery and the flambit sweet flame cake with apple rings and Calvados a successful conclusion. By the way: During our visit on a Saturday evening only guests from the area were. A place worth exploring!

Lors d' une promenade dans les Vosges du nord,et pressés par l' heure qui tournait;nous nous sommes "rabattus" sur ce resto à l' entrée du village.D' une très grandesobriété extérieure comme l' intérieur l' accueil est fait par un couple que la retraiten'a pas touché.La patronne, simple mais sympa nous a indiqués qu'il n' y avait qu'unseul menu; mais quelles saveurs pour des mets basiques!!; copieux et gouteux.Le tarif étant à l' avenant. Pour sûr nous y retournerons.

On holiday in Lembach for a few days, I decided to organize our arrival by booking a table for the evening of our arrival a few days before. In the evening, we go to the restaurant for 8:26 and we get fucked up because the kitchen closes at 8:00!??? The manager did not keep me informed of this modality when I booked. It is really not professional to act like this especially when customers book and present themselves at the restaurant. We're very disappointed.

During a walk in the Vosges of the north, and pressed by the hour that turned; We fell on this restaurant at the entrance of the village.D ' a very large external sobriety like the interior the reception is made by a couple that the retreat did not touch. The simple but nice boss told us that there was only one menu; but what flavors for basic dishes!!; copied and tasteful. The rate being on the advent. For sure we'll go back.

Quiet little restaurant at the entrance of lembach , the wood-gold offers you the best torch of the corner... all there is!The dough is just perfect , the cream well dosed, rubbery, the bacon have just what it takes of character or more or less....the cooking on the wood fire....reate a green salad with it...for dessert the pie will also be flambé !vivement !

We visited the small inn because of the very good reviews. The daily dish (natural carving with noodles) was tastefully good, but the meat was relatively tough and fat. Very good was the vegetable soup.

The flambée nature pie is excellent! Only disappointment to the munster where there is no onion or bacon, and that's a shame, it's only flat. I'll go back with great pleasure!

The torched pie is excellent and always of the same quality. Very good address for this type of dish. I recommend this establishment.
