in juni 2014 we celebrated our high time in the old railway station in holzgerlingen.We chose the restaurant because of the excellent food. we had a menu in the middle price segment that had eaten well tasted all. the restaurant cooperates with the local flower shop that delivered the table decoration. the conditor in the place delivered the high-time places. the location is rustic, the terrace we also got to it, so that had it belonged to us locally for this evening. eating was on time as agreed on the table. it has also been adequately submitted. it had all worked well and we can recommend it locally to celebrate a high time (we were about 50 people) without restriction.
a stop in holzgerlingen led us to the old railway station. we checked in the www where you can eat. despite rain, you could eat on the covered terrace in the open. we ordered a huge maul bag with potato salad and penne asian. both were tasteful in order and properly arranged. in time also in the normal frame. the ambiente is rustic and fits the building. But finally, the prices were too high for wood-growers of our opinion. for our purpose it has been fit.
an service and ambiente there is nothing to suspend. that has not convinced us. we had a soup as an appetizer. tastefully it was in order, but very thick and the contained small pieces of spatula was almost raw. in addition, several rosmarin needles were in one of the suppenings. we are really disappointed by the swirl roast with bratkartoffeln. the kartoffeln was not even slightly crispy, and the tweepers on the roasted cascading penetrant to rosemary.

eating is really very tasty, you get it very fast and the service is very nice. the terrace is great, and since it is the old railway station, it doesn't bother that more often trains pass. very recommended. if I'm in the opposite again.
I have eaten two evenings with friends / colleagues in this typical German restaurant in an old railway station to night. the meat is very good, as well as the beer. very nice staff recommended.
for years we have been enjoying ambiente in the interior, and in the summer the terrace. rectilinear, varied map, good service and at the end a bill in the frame of the spesen policy. fits!
good price - performance ratio. for good weather nice beer garden, unfortunately directly on the railway rail is not surprising at the name " old railway station" :)
