A group of 12 of us visited the establishment for dinner on Aug 13 Saturday evening . We left a happy bunch What a cute little place , from outside it might look divey but its spacious inside complete with a well lit patio and a dining room on the other side . The decor is neat , tidy , quickly getting into pros and cons Pros 1.Food Food Food We had 2 brazilians, 1 peruvian and 1 colombian in the group and all of them agreed handsdown that the food was authentic and delicious and yes Peru did win the day on latin cuisine wars within the group 2. The service : Family run businesses always have a challenge when large groups show up , however we never felt it , service was prompt and served wit...

Highly recommended restaurant in old Aylmer, off the main drag of rue Principale. Flavourful, authentic Peruvian dining, unique in the region, owned by ex-pats Segundo and Rosa of Lima. Recent changes in the kitchen have paid off in quality at the table. Fiery Ceviche, delicate Jalea de Pescado y Mariscos (lightly battered seafood) with cassava, and savoury Lomo Saltado sirloin cubes are all worth consideration. Try the nationally famous Chicha Morada drink, a purple concoction of corn, pineapple and clove.

This is a great place to get a nice meal in Aylmer.Service quality depends on who is serving you, but the owner seems always very grumpy which breaks the vibe.Food is really simple yet delicious. Sauces portions are served in plastic containers even if you eat there, which gives a cheap cafeteria vibe that is also not eco-friendly.Prices are fair given quality and freshness or the products proposed.

Customer service (from presumably the owner; an older man) was incredibly poor. We were the only ones there dining and yet received no attention, we had to keep getting up to ask for stuff. When we asked a question about the menu we were told to “just read” very rudely. He seemed very bothered that we had shown up to eat ?. Will not return. Food was good though. Reserva una mesa ahora

This isn't just good Peruvian food it is some of the best food in the Ottawa area. A little out of the way but well worth it. The Empanadas are fresh and satisfying and the hot sauce is tasty. The Lomo Saltado is a must and the Arroz con Pollo is perfectly cooked with simply fantastic green rice. Don't miss it.Food: 5/5
