Went here on our way back from a cracking day at the Ryder Cup was quoted as being one of the best Indian restaurants close to our hotel. Whilst I appreciate the restaurant was a local restaurant and not one of the up market Paris restaurants that said one thing you would expect would be relatively good service unfortunately this wasn’t the case, service was appalling and when the food arrived it was not only cold but tasteless not all of our food arrived at the same time either this resulted in numerous requests for the rest of the food to be brought to our table the general cleanliness of the restaurant wasn’t great either. Staying in the Marriott AC Le Bourget with colleagues for this year’s Paris Airshow, we finally got fed up with being robbed by the hotel so our mixed gang of Brits and French walked down the road to this place. Everyone delighted zinging spices, decent quality chicken, lamb and veg, and everyone’s desired heat levels exactly right. Gorgeous sag aloo so that’s me happy. Friendly natter about the cricket World Cup with the Indian proprietor. Two beers each. €25 per head including tip. Would go back tomorrow! (Especially when the alternative is Marriott’s brochettes and salad for €50 plus drinks!!!
