my 19-year-old daughter and I visited friends living in st aupre. they are native and experienced mountaineers, so they brought us to this charming place. go for the walk, which is excellent, but only have a handcrafted beer or a bio-lime in the cafe restaurant. eating is debated as there is no choice: chive omelette, green salat and cold meats of cheese. the cold meats are very common, such a scandal as they have a cheese factory next door, also pork 'saucisson'. There is obviously no loss of love between these 2 institutions. and not for the blueberry tart go: it's hotberry jam over a brioche. an underwhelming experience overall.
Wow what a wonderful afternoon we had. It was Father's Day and I had not seen my father in over a year and decided to take the family up to Charmant-Som for lunch. It's by far the BEST place to go for a relaxing mountain-style...lunch. Excellent spot if you have kids. They can run around care-free and even have pictures taken with the very tame cows! There is also a cheese shop next to the Auberge where you can buy their local milk and speciality cheeses! You can also pack your own picnic and find a spot on the grassy hill. The views are breathtaking from up there! Definitely going to go back there and soon!

alone the position should guarantee five stars, which was intended for the chartreuse mountain (alpen) was not the second. there are also a lot of hikes in the opposite to do before / after their meal. the restaurant is family style there is really only one...Menu and the eating is decided French: fresh cheese and meat, omeletts and salat (blueberry cake dessert.) the eating was excellent and so was the service. be they warned, this place is really out of the way, but the views and eating are worth it! we were brought to the restaurant by French we had met in the states, and it was a great experience.

On cool days a log fire, cheese fondue and a glass of wine. What could be better. Lunch time salad, omelette, charcuterie and a glass of wine. Perfect lunch. On lovely hot days a drink on the terrace with a tarte myrtilles sauvage. Any which...way a perfect destination for a little trip out. The views are spectacular, the staff friendly and for these wanting something more active, fantastic walks. Every photographer's dream. Oh, and don't forget a visit the the fromagerie.

we visited with my parents and we are happy to be greeted by a very friendly waitress who speaks an excellent English! beautiful coffee and delicious blueberry, while dreamlike to observe the beautiful landscape, what an excellent afternoon! a must go to the place when they are in. who are opposed.
a very beautiful hostel in the mountains, with a stunning view around, and in their teller some delicious food (single menu for all:) cold cuts (delicatessen,) slobbering omelette and salat, and the homemade blueberry cake it will be one of the most interesting experiences you will make...will be!

We visited with my parents and we're delighted to be greeted by a very friendly waitress speaking an excellent English! Nice coffee and delicious blueberry tart while dreamily watching the beautiful scenery, what an excellent afternoon! A must go to place when you are in the area.
Great sunset with excelent views. Beautiful sunset from the mountains if you go at night. Don't forget a sweatshirt even during the hotest days of summer. Two different meals availiable plus one for children.
