After a long road trip we stopped by at the Bergkristall for a brunch, it was a cold week day during December and we ended up having an amazing brunch. I had a tomato soup, omg! that tomato soup was the best ever .. plus...this place has a stunning view of the mountains and the town. My partner had a nudelsuppe which also was super delicious. If you are around there during xmas dont forget to also taste the glühwein, which was very strong but nice. The service was nice, they had an English menu as well.
We were on our way from Innsbruck back to Munich and we always like to take back roads instead of the Autobahn. As we were driving by Achensee, just outside of Maurach we found this restaurant. We ate on the porch overlooking the lake and...the view was amazing. The food was great too, and the service was just as to be expected. This was a really special surprise as we travelled back into Germany.
It was our first time at Bergkristall while staying on the lake. Food and drinks was excellent with very friendly and attentive staff for a reasonable value. We ate Wiener Schnitzel, goulash, salad and sugared pancake and it was superb. The restaurant is well located...next to the street with a beautiful overview to the lake. Anyway we go back in the near future.
this cafe restaurant,is worth every point. Unfortunately, already forty times past it,but now on the return from the holiday we were there a rock laid.From the terrace you have a very nice view over the lake.We have eaten there very well,we have roasted with bratkartoffeln for a long time so good,we have carved a nice pastry with rice,we have had a nice pastry.

We came here for lunch. The soups were delicious And reasonable prices. Views were amazing over The lake And if Pertisau. We sat outside mid April in The sunshine. Cakes looked delicious!! Only negative is that The loud busy road in between The restaurant And...lake. (The restaurant in raised so not a problem for kids playing).
Restaurant very good located with a beautiful view of the Achensee and Pertisau on the other side of the lake and Karwendel mountains. Stuff was quite freindly, but the food was cleraly below the average of local restaurants. over, prices seem slightly higher, perhaps because...of the view. We won't come back, sorry.
It was a coincidence that they came to this place in January 2015. I was very impressed by the view, but in a warm time, sitting on the terrace and eating the delicious kaisershmarne, it seems that you can watch these species forever! Take the cappuccino and the kaisershmann, and come on in the sun.
Stopped here for drink and cakes after a delayed journey from Munich due to road works. Very good service and fantastic cakes. Sitting outside great views over the lake and also the town of Pertisau on other side of lake.

We stopped here and came up to the view of the lake. Enjoyed delicious roasted beef with onions and potatoes, filleted trout with vegetables and potatoes, lovely iced coffee and blueberries milk shake.
the kitchen is just as good as the plan! only the toilets cannot keep with the remaining quality! on all cases worth a recommendation!
