Restaurant Cafe Voigt

Situated on the grounds of Schloss Burg, Cafe Voigt sets itself apart from its competition by its funky building and friendly service. With a decor that might remind you of a fussy aunt's home and a staff that will take better care of you than your fussy aunt probably would it is worth a stop while you are on the castle grounds. Like most the restaurants here, waffles are the specialty, and I can personally attest that the waffle with hot cherries and whipped cream is outstanding albeit smaller than I expected, so I had no qualms about ordering a second one. No need to worry about the diet... you will have hills to climb after you eat!

we have on a holiday approx. 1 std waited for eating and 3x remembered after the beer. the waitress seemed to be completely overwhelmed. the crowning was, however, that we have ordered a suppe for a small child and after which our food was served after an hour, to ask where the suppe remains, we were told that it has been all for a while. that and the duration of the order have unfortunately been welcomed to be very spoiled, especially since the small had really hungry and therefore also wept.

we are on Monday 24. oktober 2016 an restaurant cafe voigt. on the internet it was never written that it is on Monday rest day. it is very shame.Good restaurant was kalkum am wernerkirchener strasse (before the burg) open (very good rolade), but it is not on the tripadvisor.

very good kitchen in which is still properly cooked with fresh ingredients.We sat outside directly in front of the kitchen window and were able to observe the driving in the kitchen well through the open window.

all restaurants on the upper castle are good. best to enjoy wadding with cries and seeing or a mountain coffee table.
