Die Grundidee des Betriebes, der von einem Sozialverein geführt wird, nämlich Arbeitslose auf das Berufsleben vorzubereiten, ist sehr gut. Nur wie das in der Praxis gemacht wird, ist traurig anzusehen. Während in der Gastronomie in erster Linie Service-Orientierung und Flexibilität gefordert ist, ist dieser Betrieb nur Montag bis Freitag geöffnet, um nur ja die "Wiedereinsteiger" nicht zu überfordern! Das "Stammpersonal" ist gut, schafft es aber nicht die Auszubildenden "auf Schwung" zu bringen. Das Personal ist mehr mit sich selbst und mit Pause machen beschäftigt, als mit den Gästen. Das Essen ist akzeptabel, die Atmosphäre macht jedoch alles kaputt! Man fühlt sich an einen "VEB/volkseigenen Betrieb, in der ehemaligen DDR erinnert!
We didnt realise when we booked into this hotel that it was run by social services to help people who have been unemployed for a long time,to return to work. Unfortunately the building needs a lot of money spent to bring it up to date. The female staff were very friendly and helpful, but our room smelt of tobacco and burnt fat. We arrived on a Friday and ate at 8pm. The food was not very good and we were asked to pay up at 10pm, so they could close. They are closed sat/Sun, so we were alone in the hotel Friday night and couldnt get breakfast Sat morning.On the Saturday we went across the bridge to a cafe (Mayr) and had a fantastic breakfast, served by delightful staff. it made up for the night before.
