Chäsalp - Reserva de mesa

We came across Chäsalp by chance. We were planning to visit one of the recommended tourist spots in the city center for Fondue. On arrival seeing all the local patrons we knew we would be in for an authentic Fondue meal. The restaurant is located on a property that once functioned as a farm. The charm and character of the buildings remain even though they have been repurposed. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A wonderful experience overall.

Really incredible food, very helpful and friendly service and a beautiful location. Well worth travelling out of the city for, but I’d recommend getting an Uber rather than the bus and tram as we found that more fiddly than it was worth (especially when with a group an Uber can be cheaper Also make sure you arrive hungry! We had so much cheese we didn’t eat until dinner time next day (and we went at lunchtime!

It's a family owned very casual restaurant with the most beautiful fondue I had in Zurich. The food is excellent and lots of choices of fondue that you won't find elsewhere. Service is very friendly and efficient. The place is cozy and beautifully decorated looking like a rustic alpine hut. It's not flooded by the tourists because it's a little off from the beaten path so it's perfect for a quiet dinner.

The best fondue in Zurich! This place makes you feel like you’re in a traditional Suisse environment. We ordered the mushroom fondue and the truffle fondue both amazing! The chocolate cake was also a nice touch at the end. The staff were friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough. Reserva una mesa ahora

My humble and subjective opinion is that Chaesalp makes the best fondue in Zurich. Everything you order is over the standards but the fondue is best ever. It is a clear 5 star place. If you are aiming to have best fondue, here is what I can suggest.

I’ve been here already few times and coming back soon! As for now it is my favourite place to eat local food. I can highly recommend. Staff is very friendly and will always help you out if you are not sure what to order :

Really amazing place with delicious fondue! I made mistakes in the order and the waitress was kind enough to fix it for me. I also ordered dessert but ate it too quickly to take pictures. Would recommend!

Beautiful Christmas atmosphere with outside gluehwein and Flammkuchen. Main meal with Fondue cannot recommend. But service was very pleasant

Mushroom cheese fondue was mushroomy, spicy cheese fondue was spicy, everything was perfectly delicious. The view at sunset was spectacular.
