Restaurant de la La Croix de Coeur

We drove by this restaurant many times, and finally decided to stop. On top of the Col de Croix de Coeur, it has amazing views: over the airstrip directly next to the restaurant, over Verbier and over the other valley towards Iserables and Conthey. The...food is quite good, although my tartare had a little bit too much mustard in it. There are also some surprising items on the menu. Staff is okay. We clearly came at a busy time, because our waitress was simply handling her task, and not being friendly to the guests. This is a rare gem in Verbier friendly, professional, l fast if you want it to be and fantastic food they must have hired a new chef this season! The menu is the right size, the food comes piping hot and fast, at...the same time for everybody, the breadbasket is TO DIE FOR, and they happily give you as much bread as you want, with a smile! The maître d'hôtel has been here a long time and now she has the right staff she so well deserves, it works like a well oiled machine. A true joy to eat here, can't wait to be back. You need to reserve beforehand as fully booked, especially the gorgeous terrace on sunny days

We went there times in the week, it was always busy but well worth the wait. The rosti with an egg and lardons was delish and filled me up all day, I also sampled the veggie burger which was sublime and then later we...tried the Hay soup which was soup of the day!!! Its not hay like we know it, more of a mushroom flavour, very creamy and a hint of garlic.Try a Monaco larger shandy with Grenadine. Beautiful view, staff very good with typical swiss efficiency

Busiest week of the season and here yo are still treated with a big warm smile! Calm, friendly, good food and you can both eat, play cards, have a coffee, hang out on a deck chair just if you want to eat over lunch...book a table as quickly fully booked. Still winter so we sat indoors actually. Can't wait to be back Reserva una mesa ahora

The food here is good and the setting is wonderful. The service year after year continues to be poor. There is one waitress, a regular, who is great but the rest don’t want to be there. Service can be slow. Worth a visit but there’s...a risk factor

I have been here for at least minutes, I asked three times the menu with all times the same answer “we are arriving” . After that I left the restaurant and I choose another one… star is a kindly compliment

They were very chaotic. We got a table quick, but than we have to wait very long for Order. The only plus was food : tartar on toast and founde. So finally we gave stars. Better to eat in Dahu:

The food here is very poor we sent it back pre-cooked, dry, tastes of refrigerator. If this restaurant wants to produce food that matches its views it needs to step into the 21st century. Reserva una mesa ahora

Very nice and good restaurant but unfortunately took forever to order. Lost 45 minutes skiing. Very nice meat on hot stones and good traditional Swiss platters.

Make sure to reserve. It’s worth the trip! Amazing views. Try the « soupe de foin » and the « jarret de porc »! Cheers
