Everytime we go out to France, we make sure we find the time to visit this lovely restaurant for lunch at least once! The location superb ... in the middle of a wooded area (Ruffaud), which has a camp site, and a beautiful lake....The restaurant overlooks the lake we love eating out on the deck, over the manmade beach. The staff wonderful .... whenever I ring to book a table (using my best French I might add), they always answer me in English just as well, as I would hate to mess up a booking! The staff are so friendly and attentive and forgiving of Franglais! The food superb .... we have never had a bad meal here! After a day of hard work on our property renovation, and driving out late to find somewhere to eat, this restaurant was a bright jewel in the darkness of the forest. It was we hadn't booked, but we were welcomed and seated. It was...a beautiful setting for a meal at night, the lights of the restaurant twinkling in the lake. The menu is straight forward, but with plenty to choose from. Portions are generous, and the prices offer excellent value for money. We will certainly return! One word of warning... take a torch! When we left, it was absolutely pitch black as we walked down the road to find our car.
2nd test for this restaurant taken this winter. just as disappointing. What a pity to have such a nut to serve this! When there's more people in the room than in the kitchen it's starting badly. The food is horrible: menu child nugets fries (surgelled), salads with immangeable ingredients, the beef piece is the only piece that was good.To finish 20 minutes waiting to have 2 ice balls because of overflowed cook while in room 7 servers and bosses were talking around the bar. I hope he will adapt. I don't recommend and I don't think I'll come back for a long time.
dry loss in any point compared to other owners concerning:-quality of dishes / dressage -service / acceuil / amabilité /attend -choix / local origin of products -quantity of stock (many of undispo) -disposition of tables to increase the "views lake" one passes from a good corezian brewery with quality products to a less authentic less local brewery with dishes that do not worth the detour. and prices have not dropped. Let's wait for a quick surge without which the premises at their second or third test will no longer return. Too bad.

small very friendly brewery, with a breathtaking view of the pond of ruffaud, rather simple but very well cooked dishes with good fresh products!! nothing to say the value ratio is excellent and the staff is really charming!! and our friends on 'legs are welcome!!
very good reception, the service was top and we enjoyed it!! Thanks to the chef for these delicious skewers and this wonderfully cooked rice, this changes the traditional white rice! short a meal at the top in a beautiful setting.
beautiful setting with terrace in front of the lake. clean. Charming staff. We took a unique meat in a dish. Very good, well accompanied. reasonable price according to choice, beef and duck were very good. I strongly advise.
I came with my wife in a quiet and warm place or we eat very well for a very correct price given the quality we will come back to over.continue as this is extra

without making great food, we have good food for about 15 to 20€ per person for entry, dish and dessert. a simple menu but good well cooked products
a very pleasant setting, a good table and a warm welcome. reasonable price compared to the benefit.
