This is a perfectly situated place to eat lunch or dinner, or even just a call in for a refreshing drink in the afternoon. With shade from the trees and the canal running right next to the terrace, it is just the loveliest place to sit and enjoy.In addition to the food, the staff are so friendly and helpful with both French and English spoken. The last time I went there, I enjoyed the fish tartare to start, followed by the steak and it was delicious. My partner had the frogs legs followed by the Goud'Burger and loved it!All in all, fantastic! We look forward to the next visit!

We went here with our 22 month old, and had a great evening meal. Service was friendly and the menus all great value. The kids menu was all freshly cooked and was devoured. They also brought the kids meal out with our starters which really helped, they are obviously used to families visiting. You can sit either by the river or indoors so there is something for everyone.

Just spent a week in goudarges, went one night for set 3 course dinner, very good value at 23 euros per person and not much more for the house wine. To make it easier the menu was also in English but the translations do not do the food justice. Great service.

The waiter was very pleasant and friendly. It was a plus that he was quite fluent in English as well. Food was great, ambiance was ???? too. Definitely would have dinner here again.

I visited the restaurant with 8 friends. Decent prices and good food. The fish was perfectly cooked and cheap prices on good wine.
