we were there about 10 years ago and remembered the fried fish and the homemade potato salad as very tasty. This time it was no longer so good, the potato salad came out of the refrigerator, making it tasted less aromatic, but the fish was freshly prepared and tasted good. Before we started ordering, I asked for a glass of water, because it was very hot and we had run quite a lot, I was told that I could only have bottled water, which I didn't want because I wanted a beer with my fish, the young waiter had no desire to bring me a glass of water. I found it rude.
This is a local fish restaurant and we wanted to try the German version of fish 'n chips. In my case I had the Backfisch made from Goldbarschfilet. Backfisch has a crispy outer coating of batter (it is deep fried) and the fish itself was moist, very enjoyable and tasted like fresh fish should. Two varieties of potato salad were offered as a side. Either made with the traditional oil and vinegar or perpared with mayonaise. I chose the oil and vinegar variety and it was good although I personally prefer it to be a bit more on the acidic side.

very nice staff, friendly and helpful. eating is very tasty, it is always freshly prepared. children x are also welcome there is an additional entrance for wheelchairs or people who have problems with platforms.

My wife and I enjoy the occasional trip to a fish food restaurant and this well established did not disappoint. Friendly service, decent portion and fair price, which is a pleasure and tasty. Very recommended!
