We stayed at Hotel Therfore on the first day, we chose the restaurant. Everything was good, service and food. Two days later, when we decided for dinner at the restaurant, it was a nightmare! We came around 19h50, first customers in a series of tables. We chose a main dish and a drink. We have received our drinks, wine and water quickly. After 45 minutes waiting our food, we asked the waiter whether there was a problem like all the other tables of the row had received appetizers and main dish. And the customers were all arrived and ordered to us! The answer of the waiter was Hey, no stress!!! Not very professional. After more, the answer was 3 minutes. Well, we were all in places around the world, some luxury sites, some amazing places, some cool concept locations, was there that was done. But this place here is simply amazing and the price/value ratio is simply fantastic. You have not only one of the most beautiful views in Switzerland over the lake (magic sunset), but you are also treated at the highest level of hospitality that you can get. Very friendly staff, super helpful with everything you need, very flexible and comfortable, they all make you feel at home. I was here for 2 days to attend business meetings. We ate all of our meals in the restaurant. We had good choices including a vegetarian option. The food was well cooked, tasty and plentiful. We had kangaroo the first night! Breakfast is buffet style and has a good selection. There is no eggs and bacon though, except for hard boiled eggs. Service was exceptional. The restaurant has a multi-level patio with incredible views of the lake and mountains.
We were with a huge wedding party so I'm not sure if the menu was fixed especially for us. We had choice of meat, vege or fish dishes. Was a complete meal and always felt satisfied. FloraAlpina Restaurant has something for everyone. Order local fare from menu or do the buffet that includes different meats smoked daily on their smoker. They have a lovely terrace down from the outdoor dining patio with vignettes for romantic or larger groups to indulge in a cocktail. A wonderful experience.

Decent food and a good though small selection of wines. Pleasant service. Rather high prices, but pretty "normal" for Switzerland, and not as high as some other restaurants in town. Recommended for lunch on a warm sunny day, sitting on the terrace overlooking the Lake of Four Cantons.
