We’re staying at the hotel (Les Mouettes) for a week and it’s delightful, we’re very happy and it’s a 5 out of 5 for us. However with 2 of our 7 chosen Ajaccio restaurants shut this month the hotel recommended their own restaurant so we...thought why not. Unfortunately despite being hotel guests we couldn’t get a table until 9 the next night (albeit tables stayed empty from 7pm but apparently the kitchen couldn’t cope with too many people arriving in the small 8 table restaurant at once) but we accepted that and shared a bottle of champagne on our room’s terrace while we waited for 9pm. It breaks my heart to write this review, as I am not one to negatively review restaurants on TA, however, we felt the review necessary. Firstly, I’d like to mention that we were extremely excited to try this restaurant, based on the wonderful reviews and...it’s rating by Michelin. However, we were both extremely disappointed with the experience. While staff was lovely and the wine/dessert were delicious (we ordered the citron and yuzu cream dessert), the appetizers were average at best, and the entree was truly inedible. What a treat! This is truly a very high standard cuisine in an enchanting setting. The menu is innovative using top Corsican ingredients, the service the presentation and setting, everything is fabulous. The little appetizers “amuse-bouche” mini fish soup tartlet and tartare and brucciu were...absolutely stunning, this Chef is an artist! We had cabri and monkfish, all cooked to perfection with a delicious and surprising sauce, small ratatouille, polenta ans herbs, all so delicate and the desserts, Vanille Madagascar and Peach what a nice way to end such a beautiful and extraordinary moment! Last but not least, we still enjoyed a mini and fabulous lemon meringue tartelette and a chocolate fud...
a restaurant with beautiful view from the terrace. Unfortunately we had very bad weather, so we had to sit inside. not so nice, but okay. eating is unfortunately very expensive in terms of quality and taste experience. we ate pasta with chanterelles and risotto for main courses. unfortunately very tasteless. cost-effective weine in relation to other restaurants on the island. the restaurant has a mention in the michelin guide. very strange because there are many places in the city that are much better.

a terrazza is a wonderful restaurant. the environment is excellent, eating is exquisite, the service is impeccable. I recommend to book the dinner at 20:30 or later to enjoy the cool evening air. it is a slow eating experience, in a quiet restaurant with...no loud music and a breathtaking view of the bay. they will gladly get a taxi for their journey back to the city, if necessary.
Schön gelegen über dem Meer. Da wir gleichzeitig im Hotel waren (she. getrennte Bewertung) haben wir das Restaurant genutzt. Man möchte gehobene Küche bieten, was nicht so recht gelingt. Bei uns führte es zu einem Totalausfall von zwei Tagen. Wir haben dann in den verbleibenden Tagen den Gastronomiebereich des Hotels nicht mehr genutzt.
Nous avons profité en soirée du menu "retour du marché". Il reste d'une rande fraicheur et d'une présentation remarquable.Mais l'atout charme de ce restaurant reste sans conteste la vue sur le golfe d'Ajaccio depuis la terrasse, tout simplement sublime.Le tout avec une addition restant contenue.
Right of the bat, the staff is excellent. Above average in English proficiency, smiling, available-but-not-in-your-face and accomodating. The food is very good, as are the wines. It is not cheap (EUR per plate), but if you are planning on having a romantic evening in...Ajaccio, look no further

Nous avons séjourné dans ce même hôtel et donc manger 2 fois dans cet établissement. Les mets étaient savoureux, variés et les assiettes décorées avec goût. Les prix sont un peu chers mais la vue sur la mer est fantastique. Le soir c'est un vrai havre de paix.
