Gempenturm - Reserva de mesa

we were for a family celebration in the puppy tower. with beautiful weather we had the pleasure to sit on the terrace of the restaurant. from there you have a fascinating view of the environment. a visit is really worthwhile for that. the food was also good, I would have liked to give four points at the place but: the portions are normal and the prices for it are undamaged high. from my own, is it also for Swiss relations an unharmed (12 francs for a small mixed salad? 14 francs for a coupe danmark.?) somewhere the fun stops, especially if you can get more for half the money in the bordering Germany. the service was satisfied. recommend - well, here I am really split.

The restaurant opened newly and is now called Bärgbeiz Gempen. This mountain close to Basel I would say offers a worldclass view over the region around Basel. The restaurant has great medium priced food, deserts and drinks. In the evening it is better to reserve...your table because especially on days with a clear view there will be many guests. You can either drive up there by car, bus or also take your mountain bike or walk. Gempen is also famous for sport climbing. Restaurant and Gempen is one of the places you must have been and also enjoy an amazing sunset.

Friday, sunshine, and many people want to enjoy it. the waiter however tries to keep the guests from the terrace, in an actually opened restaurant. already the driveway to the car tower is worth it, by car, töff or velo. At the top you can find a great view in all directions. in the rest or on the terrace we had only cafe/kitchen, but this was absolutely ok and the service friendly. the prices of the menu do not speak for cheap offers.As a matter of fact, the ascent to the tower (20 m next to the rest) costs 1 chf. Great view, good food and exceptionally good service. The staff is very friendly, service was very fast, even on a busy Sunday afternoon. We felt very welcome. It's a great place to go, I highly recommend it.
