Restaurant Grottino 1313

We found the place thanks to previous reviews posted on TripAdvisor. And what a find. The place has got so much atmosphere. Our waitress was super efficient and really friendly; we did not get her name but she was a petite blonde with glasses! Actually, all staff were very good. The menu is set and that was not an issue with us. We like surprises. The wine suggestions from our waitress were spot on, with a very good match between the food and the selected wines. The place does not pretend to be fine dining but still has great food (the picture is from the main course). We had a great night.As a little side story, the table behind us was late. We thought that the table must have been 30min late, which is not great but we found out that they were actually 3 hours late! Incredible. The restaurant kept the table all that time in case they turned up as they had no phone number for them. They could have sold it 5 times over. It shows the care the place shows to its customers.

we had a wonderful dinner here last week. from beginning to end we felt special and well maintained. the first cure was a delicious salad and carrot ginger soup. the suppe was the best suppe we ever had. we loved it so much that we asked about the recipe and our waitress miriam was friendly enough to ask the cook for the recipe and write it for us! the pasta course was a creamy pasta with heapsen, arugula and tomaten, and the main course was bark, aubergine crispy kartoffeln and a contagious delicious wine sauce. 10/10 would go back! Many thanks to miriam and chef miguel that they make it such an unforgettable experience in our vacation.

J'y mange régulièrement dans ce magnifique restaurant un peu à l'écart du centre ville cependant mais c'est calme. Une petite terrasse sympa devant l'établissement vous fera penser être au Tessin ! Viandes au feu de bois, pâtes, magnifiques salades servies sur plat, produits frais c'est le top ! Le prix est assez élevé c'est Lucerne et c'est beau ! Vous ne serez certainement pas déçu ! Une des plus belles adresses hors "luxe" à Lucerne ! Samuel Copt

Wunderschönes romantisches Lokal! Hervoragendes Essen von regionalen Lieferanten mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Der Service sehr freundlich, herzlich und zuvorkommend! Wie kommen bestimmt wieder...Sehr empfehlenswert!

beautiful spray action. both the limone and the traditional (aperol) were on the spot. very cute terrace outside and service was perfect. the food was also excellent.
