When me and my boss travelled to Dusseldrf for the medical exhibition we stayed at the hotel Bristol next door. A few times we had dinner at this restaurant. It was super! Very cheap food, extremely big portions (maybe, like in the whole Germany:)), greek salad and mousaka were delicious! I even liked Greek vodka there, though when I tried it later it was completely terrible. But in this place everything was amazing. Very friendly personal, who, unfortunately, did not speak English (they tried very hard to get to know what we wanted and made fun of our mutual misudrestanding). But we learned some Greek words from the napkins in this restaurant! Some local germans at the next table helped us...
A large restaurant with touristy style of Greek décor which actually succeeded in creating a very pleasing ambience.The service was very good and the meal came with a lovely complimentary green salad each, in addition to shared starter we ordered and was further complimented with a free ouzo too. The menu covered all of the dishes you might expect and was reasonably priced at about the €12.00 range for a main course. A 0.4 beer cost €3.30 and our 0.25ltr carafe of white wine was €4.20.The meal was lovely but could have had a few olives and greens on it too, never the less, it was very nice and filling - if not gut busting. Total price for 1 shared starter and 2 mains plus one drink each: €35...
Love this restaurant, have been here several times now and they don't disappoint. Likely that the restaurant owner will talk to you as he services his customers with the wait staff, it's a local restaurant so everyone seems to know him too.Service here is very good, friendly and helpful. Menus come in English as well as German. Atmosphere inside the restaurant is open and bright, on nice weather days you can sit outside. Portions are average and are priced accordingly. At the end of the meal you will likely get a shot of oozo, which is a Greek liquor. I guess this is traditional. Would easily visit again.
For people that has been spoiled with North American customer service. It is really difficult to find good service in Europe. In Hermes restaurant I could finally found a good restaurant with good prices and great service. My husband and I had been in Greece before so I can also tell that the food was very typical from the country. The ambience was great and they even played live music. It was such a great date. I will come back.

the waiters are very friendly and attentive that I must praise.The food is very tasty and we were pappsatt with appetizer and main food.But here I must note that the appetizer baked zucchini for about 8 euro contained only 5 slices zucchini and a very small clecks tzaziki. this is already a little for the price.In total you pay here for the same food and drink about 30 euro more than elsewhere at the end of the day.

a good grieche, a delicious zatziki, a good starter dish, friendly service all well. I'm looking forward to next time.
