This was by far the worst service experience I have ever had at a high end restaurant in my life. I live only 30 metres from this restaurant so I would love to promote it, but I cannot do this in good faith. We were actually made to feel unwelcome by the staff, despite the high cost of the meal. The food is certainly decent, but there are better quality restaurants for this price in the area, so best to avoid this one unfortunately. examples: we were refused to be given a wine list or dessert menu. This is basically the title you can give to 80% of restaurants in the Geneva area, where normally the food is ok but the prices are out of reason.The Hosteria doesn't make any exception: the location is nice and the restaurant well furbished. In the summer, the terrace is very enjoyable; and the service is ok although they act as if you'd be in 3 star Michelin in Place Vendome in Paris....The menu is good and I recognize you find a lot of dishes that are not easy to find even in other Italian restaurants the Ossobuco or the Risotto al Gorgonzola, for example.However, there is nothing too difficult to prepare by yourself at home...so, prices are absolutely crazy! the Ossobuco with a mini dish...
Ich hatte Abendessen mit einem Freund und wir gestern Abend spät (alles wird Last Minute und es dauert einige Zeit) aber sehr zufrieden. Im Sommer, das Abendessen auf der Terrasse ist einfach perfekt! Das Essen ist wirklich unglaublich: Pilze, Pasta, Osso Bucco, alles war fantastisch und sehr lecker. Die einzige Schwachstelle ist die Weinkarte: recht teuer und Jahrgänge nicht entsprechend aktuelle Flaschen. Jedenfalls ein von ihnen organisierten Ort zu beeindrucken Sie Ihre Freunde oder Partner.

quiet location 3 km from the center of genf. warm and cozy dining room, white tablecloth, just a few tables. but the most important great Italian cuisine pasta is a dream big wine list. beautiful chf 39 lunch menu and chf 26 plat du jour....But last but not least charming parade, who is also the cook he is made of tessin, but he is Italian the romantic and quiet atmosphere in the evening. a must, do go!
Even those of us that live in town will not go here! Worst service I have ever experienced in what is suppouses to be a nice restaurant if you get the blond angry waitress, suggest you leave right away. Veal Osso bucco was good but all else average And way overpriced. Suggest restaurant de la reunion in veyrier for much better meal, price and service in same area.

I enjoyed the setting of this quiet restaurant. not so good for aperitif as they have only a choice of red wine through the glass. eating is quite good and tends to be expensive for meat and fish. the personal is not very...friendly. I found the restaurant offers a good selection of deserts looking homemade and homemade ravioli. clean restaurant
