As guests at the attached Schlossberg Hotel, we had breakfast daily and dinner on two nights. We were very pleased with the attentive personal service and incredible food at this restaurant. Their menu focuses on locally sourced ingredients and had been prepared carefully. Specially enjoyed their cordon bleu, tomato soup, beef salad with horse radish.The view from the indoor dining looking out at the city and the mountains beyond is very special. Very satisfying experience for both the food and atmosphere compared to the otherwise limited choices mostly concentrated on the riverfront.
great restaurant, great ambiente, great staff, great eating. Recommended!!!The restaurant has smaller rooms in the restaurant, which was very appreciated as the talk level was not too loud. all in all a successful evening. for the men I also wished such a hand wash option as for the women :-) but there the architect has also thought about the door, great :-)
we had lunch on a beautiful terrace under the castle overlooking the 180° of the Alps and below old town. the place is lovely. careful, kind and professional service. the abundant Gothic dishes and reasonable prices seen the place. the restaurant is reachable on foot from the parking lot below the castle. Thanks for the wonderful evening.
on the occasion of our high season, we were here to dinner and were able to enjoy the very fine food on the beautiful terrace. the reception was very warm.The map is clearly designed and offers many local ingredients. the price/performance ratio is correct. we look forward to the next time.
