La Barbacane is memorably good. We had the Signature Menu with suggested wine pairings. Course after course was superb. It was, however, too much food, which we should have realized earlier in the meal. That said, the third course was John Dory grilled for which it would have been a sin to leave even a single molecule. I felt the same way about the chocolate dessert, but by then, I had to concede. Great, friendly service, able to adapt well to English speakers. Gorgeous room, and the wait staff enters and exists through a giant confessional. Outstanding, and very highly recommended. Worth the considerable cost…

We began at the bars with an apéritif. Bar service was a bit slow, but once we were served the menu was presented with a lovely appetizer. The menu was perfect. Each course was delicious and the service was excellent. Reasonable price for a delightful lunch.
