Booked a table in advance and confirmed that, as a vegetarian, I could get a fondue for one (my friend wanted something else). The following evening the same person looked me in the eye and told me 'Non ', it wasn 't possible to get a fondue...for one. I was offered something similar which was 'OK for vegetarians '. This transpired to be some cheese but predominantly a big platter cold meats which cost €25. When I pointed out that I didn 't really want to pay for the meat the initial reaction was basically: we don 't care its a fixed menu. When I repeated that I was a vegetarian and asked how much they proposed to charge me for a lot of food they knew I couldn 't eat, the waiter exploded in...
I went to this restaurant, a little over the slopes, a noon with my daughter. We ordered two gratins of crozets with ham. the service temperature was a little just, for the great pleasure of my daughter who doesn't like to eat very hot. the ham obviously of very good quality, the dish was generally well made, but a little served by the service temperature, boiling on the edges and warming in the center. Certainly a detail, but should not escape from a cook. retail costs a star at the establishment, to which I would have given 4 stars for the rest.
very warm welcome, a dynamic and very friendly team. the rooms are very friendly and the typical decor of the high-montagne chalets. located in the middle of the slopes the view is unbeatable, quality dishes for the restaurant part. For a weekend with friends, we couldn't hope better. If you go to the Grand-Bornand think about you stopping there you will not be disappointed. With the bournerie the weekend is successful
for walks, decor, wood everywhere you know everything,For the bosses, I found them nice and available, the professional look service, to the abois to our needs: barely out of bread and hop the basket is filled. Second time we come to this restaurant. The dishes are always good, the price is really honest and you have to admit that the atmosphere cottage in the middle of the slopes gives a very nice side to this restaurant. Coté service our servers were really nice and we even had the right to the digestive offered :.rien to resay.
stay with 4 friends in la bournerie for 2 nights, including table d’hotes. very nice eating and the ambiente is excellent. directly attached to them! will recommend my friends, but not too many of them. how it is nice to keep this little secret safe. packed with all their ski equipment and other equipment it is a beautiful place. with two families we had a good lunch. the personal was friendly and professional. a recommendation if you want a good but easy lunch on the ski slope.
